Refunds & Cancellations

Short version: cancel anytime from Billing, no email required, no "are you sure" guilt loop. The full version is below.
Free tier
Nothing to refund. The free tier is available for non-commercial and open source projects (up to 3 sites per workspace). Eligibility rules live in the Acceptable Use Policy. If a previously-free workspace upgrades to a paid tier and then asks for a refund, the refund applies to the paid period only, not retroactively to the free period.
Monthly subscriptions ($4.99/mo)
- Cancel anytime — your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, then stops renewing.
- We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access for the rest of the period you already paid for.
- If you were charged after canceling (timing race, Stripe webhook delay, double-subscription bug on our end), email us within 30 days and we'll refund the erroneous charge in full.
Yearly subscriptions ($49/yr)
- Refundable in full within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Reply to your receipt email or write to [email protected].
- After 14 days, the yearly plan is non-refundable but cancellable. Cancellation stops auto-renewal at the next yearly anniversary; access continues until that date.
Lifetime tier ($99 one-time)
- Refundable in full within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked.
- After 14 days, the Lifetime tier is non-refundable. The tier remains valid for the operational lifetime of Dr.Deploy.
- If we shut down the service, we will (a) email all Lifetime customers at least 60 days in advance, (b) export their scan history as JSON, and (c) refund a pro-rated portion of the Lifetime fee based on the years elapsed since purchase, divided by 5. Past 5 years, no refund is due.
How to request a refund
Reply to your purchase receipt OR email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund request" and the email address you used to subscribe. Refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days.
Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank instead of contacting us first, the chargeback process locks the disputed amount with Stripe until resolved (usually 60-90 days) and incurs a fixed Stripe fee. We almost always prefer a direct refund — please email us first.
Pricing protection
Launch pricing locked at the time of your first paid subscription stays at that rate as long as the subscription remains active. Cancel and re-subscribe and you re-enter at standard pricing. If we materially raise prices on your existing tier, we'll email you 30 days before the next renewal so you can cancel.
